Dr. Sarah Kiperman is a licensed psychologist, nationally certified school psychologist, and registered play therapist. Dr. Kiperman uses her strength-based framework to partner with others in developing meaningful culturally-specific programs. She enjoys human connections with her collaborators, combining their life perspectives with evidence-based practices, and developing programs that align with their values. Her career includes work in schools as a school psychologist and as a clinical specialist in residential settings. Dr. Kiperman is currently a therapist through Beaumont Health and an assistant professor in the College of Education at Wayne State University.
Dr. Kiperman earned a B.A. from Indiana University, Bloomington, majoring in English, psychology, and theater & drama, a master's in educational psychology from New York University, and a Ph.D. in school psychology from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
